Vanuatu 2023

In April 2023, Dr Jo returned to the Northern Island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu to volunteer at 'Medical Santo' and provide medical care for the local population. 

After living in Vanuatu as a volunteer doctor for 2 years in 2016 and 2017 with her family, it was great for her to finally get back after Covid-19 travel restrictions had kept her away.

She was also able to visit some remote villages while she was there to set up more regular  medical mission trips.  She will be heading back in September 2023 with a medical team for 2 weeks and plans on doing this annually for 2 weeks each year.
